How did you get into fitness/competing?
My husband had decided to compete in his first show in May 2012 right after I had just graduated from nursing school. I went and supported him and had an awesome time but was content on being in the crowd cheering him on. Then a good friend of mine, and IFBB Figure Pro, spoke with me and convinced me to at least try one and since then I have been competing.
How do you balance your social life and fitness life?
My social life is limited as I work nights as it is. So when I do have a night off, I like to relax and spend it with my husband. I make my fitness more of a priority than my social life, plus, I prefer it that way. My Saturday night out consists of getting a gym session in with my hubby haha. Every now and then we go out with friends and take the day off to have some fun, but it's a lifestyle that I love and enjoy.
